Omschrijving:

De Social Sofa, ingelegd met kleurige mozaïek en een dichtregel van Cornelis van der Woude is een kunstwerk van Klaar Wolff en Annelies Witjens. Het ontwerp is geïnspireerd op bollenpoëzie.

Annelies Witjens
Annelies Witjens is werkzaam als vakdocent schilderen en tekenen aan diverse scholen en schilderacademies. Tuinarchitectuur en bloemen, haar twee grote passies, vormen de basis voor haar warme en kleurrijke schilderijen. Sinds 2001 betrok zij haar midden in de bollenvelden gelegen atelier. Dit versterkte haar band met bloemen, met name ”de tulp”.

Klaar Wolff
Klaar Wolff zelf rekent haar werk tot het fantastisch realisme. Zij werkt meestal in series zoals in het verleden een tango-serie en een jazz-serie werden gerealiseerd. Naast muziek is de tulp een grote inspiratiebron. en al neemt zij zich voor er maar eens vanaf te stappen.... als de lange winter voorbij is en het razend snelle goeiproces van de tulp zich aandient dan is er geen houden meer aan. Werkte zij vroeger met acryl verf, nu is dat olieverf geworden. Klaar is een gepassioneerde schilderes die popelt om het resultaat van haar werk te zien.

The Social Sofa, inlaid with colorful mosaic and a line of poetry by Cornelis van der Woude, is a work of art by Klaar Wolff and Annelies Witjens. Tulip bulb poetry inspired the design.

Annelies Witjens
Annelies Witjens teaches painting and drawing at various schools and academies of arts. Landscape architecture and flowers, her two favorite subjects, are at the basis of her warm and colorful paintings. Since 2001 she has been working at a studio located in the middle of the bulb fields. This has deepened her bond with flowers, especially “the tulip”.

Klaar Wolff
Klaar Wolff considers her work to belong to the school of fantastic realism. She usually works in series, for instance the tango series and the jazz series she realized in the past. Besides music, tulips are a big source of inspiration. And even if she has planned to abandon the subject… when the long winter has passed and the tulip announces itself through its super-fast growing process there is no stopping her. Working with acrylic paint in the past, she now uses oils. Klaar is a passionate painter eager to see the results of her work.
